How Deathly Hallows is being split

If you have heard any news about the Harry Potter series lately, it’s been all about the movies – notably the sixth film due for release this summer, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. However, in true production fashion, the seventh and final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is already underway.

Deathly Hallows will be split in to two movies, and new details are given on just how franchise producer David Heyman plans to make the split. It will occur “at a very tense cliffhanger”, he states.

I am looking forward to the Half-Blood Prince this summer, as well as Deathly Hallows in the coming year.

Do you think the split is a good idea? Tell us below!

I think it is essential that Deathly Hallows becomes two movies if they are to finish the story off properly. I keep thinking the best place to split them is right after Dobby’s death and burial, but it has been hinted that it’s not where most people think it would be. Time will tell…

I think that that would be a good place to leave off, but wherever it ends up being, I sure hope it makes sense!

I cannot wait for Deathly Hallows.
Not only did Heyman say that the split would be at a cliffhanger (which is CRUCIAL to help fans remember plot details during the 6 month span between movies), but he also said that less would be edited out of the movies, which is fantastic in my opinion. I tore Twilight apart for not following the book that well, and I’ve always been a nitpicker for details in HP movies.
Hopefully, DH will stay as close to the book as possible, because I want every juicy detail they can squeeze into the last 2 movies. <3
