Just wanting to let everybody know about Squidflicks’ lastest project. Along with “HorrorHut”, “Real Paranormal”, and more reviews, we are about to begin on our very own short/feature film entitled,”Infested.” here is the plot so far, very basic now but more details to come: A rag team of seemingly normal people become isolated in a house in the country by creatures infesting the surrounding area. As emotions begin to soar, will they be able to concentrate on the horror growing all around them???

Blood Dolls
Intro
All my life I’ve been freaked out by dolls and clowns. People ask me why and I say that they are dangerous. After they ask me what I mean, I usually tell them to just watch a Full Moon film, like 1999 release of Charles Band’s “Blood Dolls”. (more…)

Vampires: Los Muertos
Intro
So I’m taking a Spanish class, and my Spanish teacher told us that we might take a trip to Mexico if we were interested. I thought well that would be pretty cool, get to see tons of different sites than the ones I’m used to seeing. After I got to think about it, I’m not so sure I’m interested in going. I’d hate to deal with all the people, undead and dead, like the rag-team in the 2002 release of Tommy Lee Wallace’s “Vampires: Los Muertos.”

Sleepwalkers
Intro
You know, I’ve met some pretty strange people throughout my life. It just amazes me how so many people are afraid of the strangest things. I’ve never seen anybody as scared of cats as the Mom and Son duo, in the 1992 release of Mick Garris’s “Sleepwalkers”. (more…)

Intruder
Intro
The 1989 release of Scott Spiegel’s “Intruder” could be seen as the epilogue to the slasher craze that began with “Halloween” and really took off with “Friday the 13th”. After years of boogeymen , scream queens, and teenagers being axed, it makes sense to end it all with a self referential movie like this one. (more…)

The Monster Squad
Intro
Growing up as a kid I watched a lot of scary movies. Mostly the Universal Studios Monsters films, like Dracula, Wolf man, Frankenstein, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and the Mummy. I would play in my backyard like I was a monster hunter and pretended that I would fight these monsters like the kids in the 1987 release of Fred Dekker’s “The Monster Squad.” (more…)

The GingerDead Man
Intro
As the Holiday Season has just passed, I was able to do something I love to do, make gingerbread men. My problem is I can never get a good mixture of ingredients, the cookies are never good. Maybe I need to get the mix which was used in the 2005 release of Charles Band’s “The Ginger Dead Man.”

The Lost Boys
Intro
Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. The teenage American dream. All of us, including me, have experienced this phase in our lives, and we DO wish we could live it forever. Some of us are just that lucky like the guys in the 1987 release of Joel Schumacher’s “The Lost Boys”.
