    SquidFlicks Special Preview

    Summary:

In the tradition of Joe Bob Briggs’ “Monstervision” and William Shatners “Full Moon Fright Night” HorrorHut is a tribute to the late night horror show. Host Shelby Jones introduces a independent film or two, usually of the horror genre, and sometimes something out of the sci-fi, fantasy, and suspense genres, or anything that features a monster or serial killer. Between breaks, Shelby explains more on the film’s history, makes several jokes, and also includes wacky Q&A sessions with special guests, as well as extra-campy re-enactments of each movie’s most-gruesome moment.

    Komodo

    Intro

I finally gave another shot at a reptile horror/sci-fi flick. See I’ve been on a non-viewing mode of those kinda movies ever since i reviewed “Carnosaur”. I figured its time though to check another one out, and boy was it time. I’m a huge “Jurassic Park” fan, and Michael Lantieri, who worked on the dinosaur effects in JP, directed this 1999 release of “Komodo”

There is a disease spreading and you don’t even know it!!!! Unless you’ve been attacked by one of the infected, like in the 2003 release of Danny Boyle’s “28 Days Later”. I like these zombie/infection movies, they always remind me to make sure the person sitting next to me is NOT spitting out blood!!
